Worum gehts?

Open Source verändert die Welt – Beitrag für Beitrag.
Beim Hacktoberfest, einer jährlichen Aktion von DigitalOcean, dreht sich im Oktober alles um Beiträge zu Open-Source-Projekten. Mach mit und arbeite an Pull Requests Deiner Wahl – jeder Beitrag zählt!

Viele Open-Source-Projekte bilden das Fundament moderner Technologie – und sie leben vom Engagement Einzelner. Oft fehlt es den Maintainern an Zeit oder Ressourcen, um mehr zu tun, als das Projekt am Laufen zu halten.
Hacktoberfest ist eine Einladung, etwas zurückzugeben, Deine Skills zu erweitern und Dich zu vernetzen.

Für wen ist die Veranstaltung?

Egal ob erfahrener Entwickler oder neu im Bereich Open Source – jeder ist willkommen. Wir freuen uns darauf, mit Dir in einer unterhaltsamen und unterstützenden Umgebung einen Beitrag zu Open Source zu leisten.

Was erwartet Dich?

Persönliches Treffen, gemeinsam hacken und zu Open Source beitragen. Bring die Ausrüstung mit, die Du benötigst, um Software zu entwickeln und einen Beitrag zur Open-Source-Community zu leisten, z. B. Notebook/Laptop.

Du weißt nicht, woran Du arbeiten sollst? Mach Dir keine Sorgen. Wir helfen Dir dabei, basierend auf Deinen Fähigkeiten das richtige Projekt zu finden, an dem Du mitwirken kannst. Vielleicht gibt es noch andere Leute, die Pair Programming betreiben wollen und es wird eine Gruppe gebildet.

Die Teilnahme ist für Dich kostenlos. Die Veranstaltung wird auf Deutsch und Englisch sein. Den Zugang zum WLAN bekommst Du von uns vor Ort. Für Dein Wohlbefinden ist während der Veranstaltung mit gekühlten Drinks und leckeren Snacks gesorgt.
