CHECK.ai – Edition: Data Science – „Ready for takeoff“
Taking Data Science at CHECK24 to the next level: Under the motto "Ready for takeoff", the first CHECK24 Data Science Conference took place in October 2024. At CHECK.ai, the expertise of our Data Scientists was brought together and incorporated into CHECK24’s vision for Data Science: driving innovation and product development.
Isabel, as a personnel developer, is responsible for the development and support of our Data Scientists. She organized CHECK.ai together with her colleague Maya. In this interview, she provides detailed insights into our first Data Science conference and the vision of Data Science at CHECK24.
Why does CHECK24 rely on Data Science?
Isabel:
Data Science and AI are the future. And the future is now. At CHECK24, we are known for developing Remarkable Products to offer the best possible deals to customers across every industry. Over the past few years, Data Science has become a cornerstone for developing these very products. Our incredibly strong Data Science community makes a significant contribution to the speed and quality with which our products continuously evolve. The conference provided a platform for sharing knowledge and building a valuable network.
What was offered to the participants?
Isabel:
CHECK.ai was an event by Data Scientists for Data Scientists. It was important for us that our many products had the opportunity to present their AI solutions. We facilitated this on the first day through talks and a poster expo. On the second day, workshops were held to teach new tools and methods. The grand finale: a keynote speech by Pascal Kaufmann, the founder of SwissGPT.
What does the future hold for Data Scientists at CHECK24?
Isabel:
Data Science research is progressing rapidly, and the field is constantly evolving – and we want to stay ahead of the curve. Therefore, CHECK.ai marks the launch of new development programs specifically for our Data Scientists. We want to create a work environment where our employees can thrive and develop to keep up with the advancements. In addition to existing community formats, programs will be introduced to support and foster every new Data Science starter at CHECK24 from day one.
