Sofia and Anna jointly look after HR at the CHECK24 office in Vienna. Sofia joined the team in October 2025 as Teamlead HR and is responsible for the further development of the HR function. Anna, on the other hand, has been with CHECK24 for several years: she started as a working student, progressed to Junior HR Generalist, and works today as a Professional HR Generalist. Together, they make sure employees feel at home from day one, offer help and advice whenever questions come up, and play an active role in shaping the company culture at the Vienna office. In this interview, they share insights into their day-to-day work and tell us what they value most about working together.
From Anna, I've learned to stay calm and structured even in stressful situations.
From Sofia, I've learned to tackle challenges proactively and take on responsibility.
My day is a mix of strategic HR topics, recruiting, projects, and conversations with employees and managers.
I handle recruiting, personnel matters, and various HR projects. The tasks are very varied.
Through clear priorities, digital tools, and regular check-ins within the team.
With good planning, to-do lists, and close coordination with the team.
A supportive team where you collaborate openly, learn a lot, and are given trust and creative freedom right from the start.

Above all, my leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Especially my communication skills, my talent for organization, and my ability to work independently.
I use AI for research, concepts, and structuring information. I'm also currently gaining my first experience with vibe coding using tools like Cursor and Claude to make processes more efficient.
I mainly use AI for research, drafting texts, and organizing my daily tasks. It helps me process information faster and work more efficiently.
Because we collaborate openly, support each other, and offer plenty of room to shape things.
Because you can learn a lot, you're given trust, and you're part of a team that's always ready to help.
