Your Qualifications
- Educational Background: Completed training as an IT specialist, a comparable IT qualification, or a degree in computer science
- Testing Tools Expertise: Experience with manual testing tools like Postman, Insomnia, or cURL
- Programming Knowledge: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, NodeJS, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Testing Experience: Initial experience in testing web applications or software, including familiarity with testing methods, tools, and test automation (e.g., Playwright, Selenium)
- Database Skills: Solid knowledge of SQL and databases, along with experience using ticketing systems like JIRA or Trello
- Attention to Quality: Strong sense of quality and customer-oriented thinking
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and German (minimum B2 level)
Your Responsibilities
- Regularly test web applications and software across devices to ensure functionality
- Conduct manual (60%) and automated (40%) testing of new software versions to meet product requirements
- Enhance and automate testing processes and infrastructure within the team
- Develop and update test plans with product management
- Analyze test results and provide input for new feature implementation
