About this job
We are CHECK24 - the leading German comparison platform with 15 million customers and over 40 products.Join our team as a Junior Android Developer (m/f/d) and take an active role in building our new fintech platform. You will work in a small, international, feature-based team, where you will rely on your skills, experience, and passion for learning to grow and develop our new exciting product. You will be responsible for the full cycle of feature development in our team, and take part in the design, development and continuous improvement of our products.
You can expect technologies such as Kotlin, Jetpack compose, JNI, BitBucket, Git, Gradle, Jenkins, paired with JIRA and Confluence brought into production daily using CI/CD.

Your Qualifications
- Knowledge of Android, Kotlin, JetPack compose and best practices
- Openness for experimenting and discussing new solutions within the team
- Some experience with building SDKs and/or JNI is beneficial
- Having heard about OpenCV is a strong plus
- Good spoken and written knowledge of English
- German knowledge is not required, but a bonus advantage
- Open mindset, desire to continuously develop yourself and learn new technologies
Your Responsibilities
- Design, implement and continue to develop innovative services for our fintech platform
- Design, document and continuously improve the performance of our Android Client SDK
- Work directly with product managers in an agile work environment
- Maintain a strong focus on testability and test coverage across our platform
- Work in collaboration with other product-focused teams to build innovative customer experiences
