About this job
Join our team as a Junior Java Developer (m/f/d) Ident-Service and take an active role in growing our ident platform. You will work in a small, international, feature-based team, where you will rely on your skills experience, and passion for learning to grow and develop our product. You will be responsible for the full cycle of feature development in our team, and take part in the design, development and continuous improvement.
You can expect technologies such as Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit, ReactJs, Docker, RabbitMQ, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, paired with Domain-Driven Design and microservice structures brought into production daily using CI/CD.

Your Qualifications
- Successful completion of a degree in computer science or professional training as an IT specialist in application development
- Strong proficiency in Java, object-oriented programming principles, and best practices
- Willingness to experiment with and discuss innovative solutions within the team
- Hands-on experience with relational databases and tools such as PostgreSQL, JDBC, Spring Data JDBC, or equivalent
- Excellent spoken and written English skills; German is a plus but not mandatory
- Open-mindness and a strong desire for continuous self-development and learning of new technologies
Your Responsibilities
- Design, implement and continue to develop innovative services for our ident platform
- Design, document and continuously improve our internal and public APIs based on industry standards and best practices
- Design and implement integrations with various third-party service providers
- Work directly with product managers in an agile work environment
- Maintain a strong focus on testability and test coverage across our platform
- Work in collaboration with other product-focused teams to build innovative customer experiences
