Nadine has been part of CHECK24 in Munich since 2018 and, as Head of Department, leads the areas of Recruiting, Active Sourcing, and Talent Relations.
After several years in central recruiting for a wide range of products, she transitioned to the Insurance product division in 2023. In the interview, she shares what modern recruiting means to her, why diversity in the team is so important, and how she manages to attract the best talent for CHECK24 with passion, speed, and genuine team spirit.
Hi, I’m Nadine. I’ve been part of CHECK24 since 2018, working in HR with a focus on recruiting, active sourcing, and talent relations. For the first four years, I worked in central recruiting, responsible for various products across the company, including the insurance sector.
During this time, I had the great opportunity to help build many new product areas. A particularly exciting highlight for me was recruiting for our tax portal – a true milestone on my CHECK24 journey.
In 2023, I fully transitioned into the insurance product area. I’m especially happy to continue pursuing my recruiting mission, which I have followed with great enthusiasm from the start, in a more targeted and specialized way – working with my team to attract outstanding talent for us.
As Head of Department Recruiting for the insurance product area at CHECK24, I am responsible for the strategic direction of our recruiting as well as its operational implementation in day-to-day business. Together with my team, I actively shape the entire recruiting process.
A central part of my work is leading and developing my team: I support my colleagues in their daily operations, act as a sparring partner, and ensure they can reach their full potential. At the same time, I see myself as an interface between HR and the specialist departments – working closely with hiring managers, product owners, and management to attract the best talent for our insurance teams.
Additionally, I am involved in cross-departmental projects and initiatives – whether it’s optimizing internal processes, further developing our tools, or strengthening our employer brand. What motivates me most is contributing to ensuring that recruiting at CHECK24 Insurance remains not only professional and efficient but also future-oriented.
I am passionate about HR and leadership. What I love most is supporting my employees in their professional and personal development – across all levels of experience. It excites me to see someone start as a junior and, over the years, watch them grow, take on more responsibility, and truly thrive in their role.
For me, HR is more than just a job – it’s a calling. Those who know me know that I am driven by passion. I love what I do and put my full energy into it every single day. For me, passion isn’t just about external enthusiasm; it also shows in the quiet moments – for example, when you go the extra mile even though no one notices. That’s what makes working in HR so special to me: the impact you can have through genuine commitment and humanity behind the scenes.
I live and breathe speed – it’s exactly this drive to move things quickly and implement them right away that makes working at CHECK24 so special for me.

I have always believed: Never stop learning. This mindset guides me in both my professional and personal life. I recently completed my diploma in Social Media & Digital Strategy – a milestone that provided new impulses for my work in digital HR.
As a leader, I place great value on continuous development – not just my own but also that of my team. A key factor in this is consciously bringing together different personalities. I am convinced that diversity within the team – in perspectives, experiences, and personalities – is a major learning factor for everyone, including myself.
This team dynamic is like a golden rule for me: The more diverse the people, the more we can learn from each other – professionally and personally. It challenges, supports, and brings new perspectives that help me grow every day.
