Lotta, Product Manager
Lotta has worked in Holding Product Management for almost two years and looks after the Loyalty and Vouchers area. In this interview, she reveals what she studied before coming here and everyday life at CHECK24 as a Product Manager.
Hi Lotta, please introduce yourself briefly.
Lotta:
I’m Lotta, 27 years old, and I have worked at CHECK24 in Holding Product Management for one-and-half years. Before that, I studied business administration and informatics, which is excellent as that helps me quite a lot in this job since we manage many IT projects and work closely with the developers.
Do you need to have studied business administration to work as a Product Manager at CHECK24?
Lotta:
You don’t have to! I have a colleague who transferred and studied history. You need to be interested in technology. That’s important!
What are your top 3 reasons for working at CHECK24?
Lotta:
The main reason is that you manage the process from start to finish. This means you find the concept and idea at the beginning, followed by project management and coordination. You are then heavily involved in the implementation and release, so you see when something goes live. I think it’s great that you don’t just discuss things but also get to implement them.
The second reason is the proximity to the founders. It’s great that we have flat hierarchies and that you often sit in the same room as the Managing Directors and can talk to them. For example, as a Junior, I was already looking after projects and would be taken seriously whenever I phoned the Managing Directors. That’s not the case everywhere.
