Jona, Product Manager
Jona has been a Product Manager at CHECK24 for one year. In this interview, he tells us more about how he got started, his daily routine, and why CHECK24 offers him the perfect combination of business administration and IT.
Hi Jona, please introduce yourself briefly.
Jona:
I’m Jona, 28 years old, and I have been a Product Manager for the Loans department at CHECK24 for a good year. What attracted me to CHECK24 was that it’s a market leader and also a dynamic start-up with a pioneering role in digital innovation. This made me curious, and so I applied.
How would you describe your job as a Product Manager?
Jona:
I can now say this about Product Managers at CHECK24: “if you know one, you don’t know any!”
By this, I mean that there are so many task areas in product management. For example, I oversee partner management as CHECK24 is like a marketplace that wants to be filled with products. This naturally also involves partners from various areas offering their products. However, all the teams, whether front end, backend, or partner management, work together on new features to develop them as quickly as possible for our customers.
What characterises a Product Manager at CHECK24?
Jona:
What connects us Product Managers and everyone else is that we always check that every customer gets to their destination, no matter which device they use. And that’s precisely why we also test a lot on these devices to offer our customers the best experience!
