After seven years as CEO in the internet comparison division at CHECK24 in Munich, Erwin took the leap to Hamburg in 2020. Since then, he has been leading the entire CHECK24 health insurance division in Hamburg as the Location Manager, contributing to the development of innovative solutions and continuously improving the customer experience.
I completed the German-Irish double degree program at ESB Business School in 2006. After my studies, I went into strategy consulting, and then in 2013, I joined CHECK24 as CEO of internet comparison. I led the internet comparison division in Munich for seven years. In 2020, I moved to Hamburg with my family and am now responsible for the entire CHECK24 health insurance division as location manager.
After seven years in consulting, I wanted to take on more responsibility and actively shape and implement projects. CHECK24 was the perfect choice for me because our employees have the opportunity to take on responsibility and shape our product comparisons right from the start. It always excites me to see the sparkle in our new colleagues' eyes when they launch their first ticket or feature live.
CHECK24 is characterized by a dynamic environment and agile working. We release updates to our website once or twice daily and work as a team—from customer service representatives to developers to product managers—always working towards the same goal: continuously improving our insurance comparisons and optimizing the customer experience.
