In collaboration with the career network e-fellows.net, each year we sponsor four IT students and two economics students as part of the e-fellows scholarship. In addition to financial support, our scholarship holders benefit from a professional support programme and informal discussions with colleagues in the respective areas. By participating in internal workshops and tech talks, our IT scholarship holders gain an insight into the different fields of software development.
All details about the scholarship programme and how to apply can be found at e-fellows.net.
The Code Club IT student scholarship was launched in 2019 as part of an initiative by CHECK24 CTO, Kostas Pyliouras. The Code Club sponsors IT-minded students from years 10 and 11 in Munich as part of an intensive, year-long programme focussing on informatics. The substantive support primarily focusses on testing, learning and exchange. Our scholarship holders are supported and accompanied by personal mentors who are on hand to listen and advise both with technical questions about private tech projects as well as questions about learning and study. The main application requirement is a passion for web development, app development or data science as well as basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. by participating in the German National Computer Science Competition or personal projects). You can find all further information here.
Our internal student CHECK24 GenDev Scholarship is designed to accompany and support IT students in Munich on their path to becoming software developers. We are primarily looking for an enthusiasm for complex technical questions and their solutions. We want to give students more time and freedom to realise their own IT projects by providing financial support. We also offer our scholarship holders the opportunity to work on key projects as part of an additionally remunerated work-study placement. After all, we believe that practical experience - particularly programming in production code - is the foundation for success as a software developer. You can find all further information here.
The scholarship is the perfect opportunity to put your interest in computer science into practice and get to know the world of software development! In addition, you meet many nice people who give you helpful tips and advice.
