About this job
Your Qualifications
- Education: Above-average degree, ideally with an economic / technical-mathematical background (e.g., Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Global Business Management, Business Mathematics or similar)
- Professional experience: Initial professional experience in working with databases (SQL) and reporting tools (Tableau) is desirable; technical understanding, programming skills and project management experience are an advantage
- Smart solution finding: Strong organizational and conceptual skills combined with a quick grasp of complex topics, high quality standards and a hands-on mentality to find and implement pragmatic solutions
- Analytical and strategic thinking: Analytical and structured, independent way of working as well as a strong quality awareness to continuously improve our processes and generate data- and fact-based recommendations
- Digital mindset & initiative: High internet affinity, strong interest in e-commerce and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex data models and products, critically question them and develop optimization approaches
- Drive and communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to ensure fast and constructive coordination with various stakeholders in a dynamic environment and to achieve measurable results quickly
- Tools: Confident use of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Jira, SQL and Tableau desirable as well as knowledge of data architectures/databases and cloud systems (AWS) and routine use of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT - whether privately or professionally - is an advantage
- Language skills: Business fluent in written and spoken English, good knowledge of German is an advantage
Your Responsibilities
- Team collaboration: You will be actively involved in our Business Intelligence team from day one, working closely with Product Management, Partner Management, IT, Finance, Customer Service and the Executive Board
- Taking responsibility: You will create insightful new ad-hoc reports (e.g. for the Executive Board and Partner Management) and will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators
- Product improvement: You will analyze our Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) to continuously improve our processes and develop new approaches based on the data to actively drive our product forward
- Managing agile projects: You will independently prioritize and manage your projects with the goal of efficient and timely implementation
- Realizing ideas: With proactive suggestions, you will contribute significantly to our data-driven decision-making strategy and stay in regular contact with the Executive Board and other departments
- Driving true innovation: You’ll leverage Generative AI (e.g. LLMs like ChatGPT) to develop groundbreaking new features for our customers while optimizing your daily tasks through consistent use of AI
- Measuring and ensuring quality: You will create meaningful reports such as booking forecasts, margin calculations and statistical evaluations (e.g. A/B tests), systematically monitor your KPIs and derive recommendations for future initiatives
