DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) bank accounts

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) with a very good understanding of what software development (Dev) and software operation (Ops) are all about (processes, best practices, tooling, collaboration mentality), to work closely with the development teams in order to maintain and improve the software infrastructure. You will make our CD platform state of the art, as well as enhancing our monitoring/logging/alerting systems to help automate and enable self-serviced IT teams. As a DevOps Engineer, you will join a technology team using open source technology to support our highly successful tech-enabled business.

Your responsibilities

  • Build up a state-of-the-art Docker-based self-service runtime platform, covering all aspects including build, deploy, scaling, and monitoring/alerting/logging
  • Modernize the existing continuous delivery infrastructure to better support the development teams and enable our future vision (Git, Jenkins, Microservice-Plattform)
  • Bring DevOps culture and mindset into the development teams, through knowledge sharing, trainings, coaching and your passion for it
  • Build up state-of-the-art monitoring, alerting, logging and metrics systems -  enabling full application systems transparency both for the business and IT
  • Support the development teams and business in getting the system insights they need in a hands-on supportive manner

Your qualifications

  • A good expertise across the DevOps stack with minimum one of:
    -  Chef/Puppet/Ansible/etc.
    -  Continuous Integration/Deployment/Delivery
    -  Containerization
    -  Script-Automation
  • Software-Development Skills in Java and Spring Framework
  • Either a system-engineering (*nix-environment) or software engineering background
  • Completed degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
  • Practical Docker experience is a must
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins with Pipeline, maven, jacoco, etc.
  • Supporting CD tools like Nexus
  • Hands on experience in setting up and maintaining CD pipelines
  • Pluses: Knowledge of general network routing
