Data Engineer (m/f) – Web Tracking

Your Responsibilities

• As a member of a newly created Analytics team, you will be responsible for the web tracking of several different products
• You will ensure the quality of the existing tracking as well as working on new projects and recommendations
• You will develop new tracking plug-ins and functionalities (PHP / JavaScript)
• You will use your technical and analytical knowledge to provide business recommendations

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or Engineering with strong programming background 
• Confident in writing PHP and JavaScript code
• Experience with Web Tracking in Ecommerce applications, as well as previous technical experience with Web Tracking Tools: Matomo (preferred), Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture
• SQL knowledge, experience with Big Data preferred
• Ability to design new data models
• Inquisitive nature with an aptitude to diagnose and tackle analytically complex business problems
• Fluent in English and strong working knowledge of German
• Team player with a hands-on attitude
