Your Qualifications

• Very good knowledge and practical experience in Golang for high-performance backend-applications
• Very solid know-how in object-oriented programming, software architectures and design patterns
• Proven skills in using and programming APIs and building MySQL and / or in-memory databases
• Experience in unit testing and high quality standards
• Enthusiasm for innovative ideas in backend development
• Ability to work in a team, high level of commitment, independent work and quick comprehension skills
• Business fluent in English and good knowledge of German (at least B1 level)
• "Courage to fill in the gaps" if not all of the above qualifications are met

Your Responsibilities

• Setting up the complete backend infrastructure of the new product from scratch; integrating AI-powered recommendation services
• Working closely with product management to develop a comprehensive service landscape including API connections and databases
• Co-designing, planning and further development of our backend architecture
• Working in a team to define and optimize the software lifecycle, including CI/CD processes
• Mentoring of junior team members and active exchange with other teams at CHECK24
• Contributing to shaping the team culture of this new team
