Your skills
- Completed studies (at least Master's degree) in mathematics, physics, statistics, computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable course of study
- Hands-on experience in developing machine learning services and strong interest to transfer your current ML skills into developing expertise in ranking or recommender systems
- Strong algorithmic thinking coupled with problem solving skills through leveraging statistics and machine learning
- Solid programming experience with Python and confident handling the main libraries/frameworks for machine learning (e.g. scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, Tensorflow)
- Enthusiasm for designing and bringing machine learning services into production by using software engineering skills and cloud services (AWS)
Your responsibilities
- Work as a member of a central data science team responsible for developing cutting edge machine learning algorithms and technologies in the area of recommender systems tailored to different CHECK24 products
- Ensure interpretability and explainability of developed solutions
- Self-responsible implementation of the developed algorithms and models for productive mode, mostly using cloud technologies (AWS)
- Research and experiment with new algorithms and technologies across data science to improve the technical capabilities of the team
